| Bio: | Someday I'll put real information here, as I get organized and move my junk from livejournal. I'm weasleyfan over there. I'm a 40 something mom/wife/nurse and love all things literary, all things Harry Potter, (except Sirius Black or Lupin/Tonks - what *was* JKR thinking??) and especially all things Snupin. I write some fanfic, not well and not prolifically but I have fun doing it. Eventually those stories will be here. This journal may contain stories or links to stories which depict graphic sexual behaviour between various individuals, whether it be heterosexual or homosexual in nature. Read the contents and/or chase the links at your own risk. Loves: Severus/Remus = Snupin = my OTP Severus/Harry = Snarry = my guilty pleasure Severus/OFC = My first love and still holds a dear place in my heart. Severus/just about anyone else is lovely if well written and Severus is appropriately snarky and in-character. Anything and everything heart-grippingly angsty, as long as the main pairing gets a happily-ever-after or at least hopeful type ending when all is said and done. LOVE Virgin!Severus and/or Virgin!Remus (or anyone else Severus happens to be paired with in the story). :whispers: I even enjoy reading chan as long as its well done and Harry's not terribly young. Squicks: Severus or Remus paired with Sirius Black, ever, for any reason. Severus willingly, knowingly or consensually participating in a threesome with anyone. The Severus in my head does not "share" well. I have read and enjoyed these sorts of fics to a very limited degree, but only if Severus' innate possessiveness, insecurity and jealousy issues are not ignored. Remus/Tonks left the way JKR wrote it. Tonks would never put up with a guy treating her that way, and Remus is too much a gentleman to be such a prat to someone he genuinely loved. JKR is brilliant, but her self-admitted weakness in the romance department really glared in that one. Fix it, ignore it, get rid of it, but I don't like to read it carried on from how JKR left it. Mpreg unless written really, really well. I do not like slash because I want one of the boys to be effeminate! I like my boys to be boys. *grin* Often Mpreg makes one of them a moody, weepy wimp and I don't care to read it. Wimpy or lovey-dovey Severus. Death fics. I deal with death, dying and very emotionally traumatic stuff every day in my line of work (as an R.N.), I actively and aggressively avoid anything deliberately sad in my hobby/escapism fandom. So, that's the basic gist of the sorts of fics I'll recommend here when I find something I really like, just in case you want to know if your tastes are similar to mine. That's how I find new things to read - stuff recommended by like-minded readers. Feel free to friend me. Let me know if you want to be friended back.
